Please note that by using our website (www.medallionvha.com.au), you agree to ALL the Terms and Conditions including, but not limited to, the CONDITIONS OF USE listed below. Medallion Chauffeur Services reserves the right to change the below policies at any stage without prior notice.

This Website (“the Website”), www.medallionvha.com.au, is owned and operated by Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd (ABN – 68 646 683 918). The material on the Website is copyright © 2021 Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd and/or other copyright owners.

The Website is available for you to access, conditional on your acceptance without alteration of the Terms and Conditions set out below.

By accessing the Website you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions and any others terms and conditions, notices and/or disclaimers displayed elsewhere on the Website from time to time. You also agree that you are at least 18 years of age, of sound mind and legally able to enter into a binding contract.

The Website and all of its content, including scripts, text, artwork, photographs, images, and video are the intellectual property of MyBoutique Australia. All content is provided by MyBoutique Australia as a service to its customers and may be used for personal information and product ordering purposes and non-commercial use only.

Use of Material on the Website

You may not use the Website, or the material contained on it, for any purpose that involves:

(a) The reproduction of the material in any material form;
(b) The distribution of the material in any material form;
(c) The re-transmission of the material by any medium of communication;
(d) The uploading and/or reposting the material to any other site on the WWW; or
(e) The “framing” the material on the Website with other material on any other WWW site.

The above referred to conduct is unlawful in any jurisdiction and is specifically prohibited by these Terms and Conditions.

Notwithstanding the above restrictions on use of the material on the Website, you may download material from the Website for your personal non-commercial use provided you do not remove any copyright and trade mark notices contained on the material.

Your rights

As a customer of Medallion Chauffeur Services (www.medallionvha.com.au) you have the right to expect that:

  1. Any services and/ or products you order through Medallion Chauffeur Services will be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and will conform to any description given on this site;
  2. Certain remedies will be followed if a product/ services is agreed to be defective or not up to acceptable standards;
  3. You have the choice to a full refund or a store credit if:
    • a defective product is unable to be repaired or replaced;
    • both customer and Medallion Chauffeur Services have agreed that the service provided was not up to the standards and either the customer is in a situation where they are unable to accept a remedy; or Medallion Chauffeur Services is in a situation where they are unable or offer a remedy.
    • (with the exception of Gift Card purchases where only a store credit will be issued).

Refunds by law: In Australia, consumers have a legal right to obtain a refund from a business if the goods purchased are faulty, not fit for purpose or don’t match the seller’s description.

Eligibility to purchase

Purchasing products or services on the website is only available to individuals or businesses who meet our terms of eligibility. All purchasers must be over 18 years of age. All purchasers must have been issued with either a valid credit card by a bank, or have a valid PayPal account, or have a valid bank account. The application to open an account must be acceptable to Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd.

Authorisation of Payments for Orders

When placing an order on our website, you agree to authorise PayPal or Credit Card Gateway, (on behalf of Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd) to process the charge or charges on their credit card or PayPal account in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase.

In case of orders where Cash or Bank Transfer is selected as the payment method:

  • Cash – Payment must be made at the time of pickup, unless prior arrangements has been made between the customer and Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd.
  • Bank Transfer – Payment must be received in our bank account before the service/ order can be confirmed as accepted; unless prior arrangements has been made between the customer and Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd.

By making an offer to purchase merchandise/ service, you expressly authorise our payment processing service providers, (on behalf of Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd.) to perform credit checks to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

Furthermore, you agree that PayPal or the Credit Card Gateway, on behalf of Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd. may use personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.

Order approval

After you place your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received. Orders are confirmed/ approved only after full payment has been received. If your order has not been approved you will be notified immediately via email or our website.

In the rare instance that your order is approved but if we are unable to service it, we will contact you immediately by email or phone (where possible) to arrange for a full refund or service exchange, if preferred.

We reserve the right to not accept your order in the event, for example,

  • that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment,
  • that incomplete/ inaccurate address has been provided in the order form,
  • that service/ area restrictions apply to a particular item/ service,
  • that we do not have the availability to fulfill the order/ service,
  • that you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
  • that there are are government restrictions in place.

Service Delivery

Our Chauffeurs are trained to arrive on or before time at the pickup location. for :

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie Whilst every effort is made to arrive at the pick-up point/ pick-up address before or on time, sometimes there may be delays due to situations which are out of our control. For example: government restrictions, traffic jams, road works and/ or road accidents.

Cancellation by us

At Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd. we will do our best to ensure your order is fulfilled. However, we reserve the right to cancel the order if one or other of the following circumstances apply:

  • we do not have the availability to provide the services you have ordered.
  • we do not offer services to your area or country.
  • incomplete/ inaccurate address has been provided in the order form,
  • you have shown rude, aggressive, intimidating or abusive behaviour towards our staff.

In the event of cancellation, we will contact you by e-mail within 24 hours of receiving your order. If we cannot fulfill the order we will re-credit your account immediately. Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd. will re-credit your account for the value of the goods/ services and shipping (if applicable). Medallion Chauffeur Services Pty Ltd. does not reimburse any bank charges you may have incurred in the transaction.

Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.

Cancellation by customer

We understand that sometimes there might be some unavoidable circumstances in which you may have to cancel your order/ booking. Medallion Chauffeur Services will accept cancellations, however, we may have had to reject other bookings for or around your your booking time and therefore there may be some fees involved in cancellations. Following conditions and /or fees/ charges apply on cancellations:

  • Full refund will be issued where a minimum of 48 hours notice has been provided for cancellation.
  • 50% refund will be issued where less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours notice has been provided for cancellation.
  • Full order/ booking amount is charged where less than 24 hours notice has been provided for cancellation.

If customer does not show up

Our chauffeurs will make contact with you on the mobile number supplied in Booking/ Travel details. They will notify you of their arrival via a call or SMS. The driver will wait for 15 minutes past the pick-up time and if the customer does not arrive or make contact within that time then it will be considered as “No Show”, the driver will then leave; and the customer will be charged/billed the full booking amount.

In an event the chauffeur is unable make contact with the customer on the number provided if full address has been provided as the pickup address in the order/ booking, then the driver may attempt to make contact at the address. However, if the pickup address provided is a landmark address in that case the chauffeur will not be able to make contact at the address and hence will wait in the car and attempt contact only on the contact number provided in the order/booking.
